Okay, I've had enough, and I've heard enough, or perhaps more accurately, haven't heard jack squat from any Republican candidate as to what platform they're running on and why.  Nothing but generalities with the possible exception of Mike Huckabee who espouses item #1 below. By the time the election comes around a year from now, Iraq will not be an issue, but the future of this country will be and frankly I'm tired of not hearing anything from any of the frontrunners as to how they specifically propose to fix the problems we're faced with right now!  So I'm going to lay it out for them, and I'm going to make a prediction-whichever candidate embraces this platform and has the guts to come out publically and do so will beat whatever Democrat they'll be running against............. as a matter of fact, if a Democrat runs on this platform they will win, hands down! Yeah I know, when pigs fly.

1. The Fair Tax= the elimination of all income tax, estate tax, capital gains tax , corporate income tax, payroll (social security, medicare/medicaid)) tax, the elimination of the IRS. The U.S. government will no longer confiscate the wages of its citizens which for nearly 100 years has amounted to legalized robbery. There is no one miracle cure for all that ails us however, The Fair Tax represents the one move we can make that will have a positive impact on every citizen,  and every business allowing us to more effectively address the problems we face with a real solution that instead of hurting Americans will help each and every one of them! It's time to pass H.R.25 into law which will................................

2. Repeal of the 16th ammendment to the constitution:, which allows congress to tax income from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states and without regard to any census or enumeration. Suggested reading: The tenth ammendment to the constitution

3.The USA will no longer participate, house, nor fund the United Nations:
to continue to do so is a waste of American taxpayers money, and puts our sovereignty at risk. Nor will we provide diplomatic immunity to those foreign nationals that break our laws. Savings= roughly $4 billion dollars annually (according to 1994 cost estimates). Categorize this under NO BRAINER.

4.The USA will stop all foreign aid funded with U.S. taxpayer dollars: Savings = 1 trillion dollars annually. So, what do we do with the money? Pay off all the people that are currently collecting Social Security that have so dilegently paid into the system all their working lives..........with interest. 3-4 years of no more foreign aid should do it. Categorize this under  SECOND BIGGEST NO BRAINER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.

5. Lifetime term limits for congress:  One term of 6 years and you're done for the Senate, 3 terms of 2 years each for the House. Once done you return to private sector without your lifetime entitlement of the salary you had while serving this nation. Get a job. Categorize this under  SEE IF YOU CAN FIND ONE PERSON BESIDES A CURRENT MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO DISAGREES WITH THIS. THIS GETS FIRST PLACE FOR THE BIGGEST NO BRAINER.

6. Secure U.S. borders and enforce the law: Is there really anything more to discuss on this matter? Are you here legally? Welcome! Not here legally? Better hope we don't find you. This is not a race issue. This is a national security issue. Period. Build the fence! Oh, that's right . Congress just gutted the border fence bill as of yesterday, so it will probably not happen. Go back to item 5 and read it again.

7.English is the official language of the USA: Contrary to what you hear on the left, having one common language does not divide, it unites. Teddy Roosevelt said it best, (paraphrased) "Those people from foreign lands that come to America seeking a better life, and are willing to be Americans and assimilate into our culture are welcome. For those that would seek to establish their own culture we have room but for one flag The American Flag. And one language, English.

8.The USA will eradicate radical islamo-fascists from the earth and those that harbor, encourage, train, or subsidize them will be treated to the same fate. We will do so swiftly, on a time table of our choosing, with extreme predjudice and without remorse. Not poliyically correct? The Marine baracks in Beruit, the U. S. Embassy in Iran, The U.S.S. Cole, Pan Am flight 103, The 1st and 2nd World Trade Center bombings. Need I go on? Its time to terrorize the terrorists.

9.All those that are currently collecting social security will get a single one lump sum payout of all the money they paid in plus 5% compounded interest for all the years they paid into the system less what they've already received. For all those that aren't currently collecting Social Security but are still paying into it, a single one lump sum payout of all monies paid into the system plus 3% compounded interest for every year they've paid into the system. Social Security has been ripping off the Amerin citizenry for now close to 70 years. Here is the best example of what the government thinks is a great deal for the citizenry: you pay in 15.3%of your wages(SS, Medicare/Medicaid) for all of your working life (call it 40 years) and they'll give it back to you at 70 years of age with an eye dropper. Laymen's terms:  A 60,000 annual  income x 15.3%= $9180 in SS, Medicare/medicaid taxes annually x 40 years = $367,200.00 that you'll have paid into the system, and the most you'll get out on a monthly basis at age 70 (if you wait until then to collect) is $1300.00. The average lifespan is 75 years. So, if you wait until 70 to collect Social Security you'll then get back $15,600 annually (less if you have investment income) and if you actually live to be 75 you'll have collected $78,000.00. So, give the government $367,200 and get back $78,000! If you brought that "deal" to anyone with a brain as a worthy investment they would kick you out of their house, which is exactly what needs to happen with this program. Any questions? Fund this with what we save annually by getting out of the U.N. and stopping the foreign aid. Even without compounding the interest, you could pay off all SS recipients in a lump sum-which would be better for them than the way it is now.

10. Health Insurance is not Health Care: Exclude Association plans from state regulations!!! allowing people to purchase health insurance accross state lines, joining larger risk pools, unencumbered by state mandates. This combined with The Fair Tax ensures that health insurance is affordable to all. We have universal health care as no one is turned away, we don't have universal health insurance and we don't need it! Does anyone need a better example than the last about how government handles things like this?

11. We're going to cut spending and balance the budget. No more endless entitlement programs. If you're on welfare you can't vote. If you're not a citizen of the U.S. you can't vote. Want to vote? Prove you're a citizen, and get a job, there will be plenty to choose from. (refer to item #1 The Fair Tax, which will create more jobs as every manufacturer throughout the world will be clamoring to set up shop in the U.S. Why? Because there is no more corporate income tax! which by the way is always passed on to the consumer in the cost of goods.)Any surplus the government ends up with at the end of the year will be distributed to the families of our fallen soldiers. We're going to send a bill to congress calling for complete transparency on each and every spending bill- No more pork! If Alaska needs a bridge to nowhere, get Alaskans to pay for it. Because of the river of money flowing into the U.S. Treasury from the over taxation of the electorate Congress seems to think it's theirs to spend as they please..............it's not, it's your money and mine. Congress will busy itself with defending this country and maintaining and solidifying its infrastructure. We're going to get rid of all the agencies within the government that are superfluous, including but not limited to the Dept. of Education.


12. Our goal is to make each and every citizens' life better by getting the government out of it, and by enacting these programs we're going to accomplish just that! We're going to end poverty, the endless cycle of hopelessness that accompanies it, and the government and tax system that perpetuates it. The federal government, alas all government should serve the people, not the other way around! This platform will do that as we are going to take the neccessary steps to right this greatest of Nations. There is nothing compassionate about a government, a political party, nor a system that steals from its citizens in order to perpetuate itself, and its failed policy, poor stewardship, and bad management, under the guise of "the greater good". A system or a political party, that steals from Peter to pay Paul will always get Paul's vote however, that is socialism. This discourages Peter from working  and soon everybody wants their entitlement! From each according to their means to each according to their needs? That's Marxism! Last time I checked, this was The United States of America! The land of the free because of the brave! We're giving this country back to its citizenry, because that's who owns it! We need to do this right now!
